Ricky Gervais (creator of The Office) has a new show coming out on HBO called 'The Extras.' He's an actor who can only get work as an extra (hence the title) and is trying to break into a speaking role. Looks like I'll be torrenting this one.

I saw that as well. Hilarious guy. Have you ever seen The Office - the original UK version? I think you'd find it very funny.

i tried man, i really really tried. i got the first season from the library. it had potential, but i hate the awkwardness of the documentary style. the bloopers were great though. just not my cup of tea.
