Rick Rubin to Engineer New U2 Record

Rick Rubin

Apparently, Rick Rubin is set to help engineer the new U2 record in September. Rubin is the genius behind Johnny Cash's resurgence with the Amercian Recordings as well as working with a variety of artists such as LL Cool J, Aerosmith/Run D.M.C., Slayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, Neil Diamond, Metallica and many others.

Love him or hate him, it should make for an interesting collaboration.
