So Apple has a big event planned for Oct 12th (next week) and lots of rumors are floating around as to what's going to happen - video iPod, video enabled Airport Express, or upgraded Powerbook/Powermacs.
I'll believe a video iPod when I see it. Not that I don't think they'll come out with one, but why do it so soon after releasing the iPod nano that's been getting tons of press and publicity for Apple? But then a big media event like this doesn't really make much sense for a simple speed bump to the Power line. We'll have to wait and see what Steve Jobs has up his sleeve (or in his pocket) next Wednesday.
