Hope everyone has a good weekend. It looks to be pretty nice out here with a possibility of some rain (which isn't a bad thing considering how dry it is).
So Sue and I saw Changing Lanes last night (after a very tasty meal at Earl's). I don't really recommend it. Ben Affleck isn't that great of an actor and the movie just leaves you feeling (blech). There isn't really an antagonist or a protagonist and so when the movie ends, you just feel like nothing's happened.
On a lighter note, check out this auction for a haunted walkman and be sure to scroll down and take in the photo of the walkman in use. (I'm pretty sure it's all a joke.... at least I hope so)

the guy who played Darth Vader apparently doesn't really like the new sw:ep2 movie... but he's more than willing to take a job in ep3. (No kidding... those sc-fi conventions probably don't pay the bills!)
we've finally managed to get some summer here (27 degrees!) this week. I'm quite happy to be working on the University campus where I can go for slush runs through the bowl when it's so nice out, and can walk through the tunnel when it's howling in winter.

... been awhile since i updated - i managed to win the battle to see sw: ep2 and i think everyone enjoyed it as a result. it was pretty sweet to see it on the big silvercity screen with the nice seats after shopping all afternoon ...
... going to edmonton this weekend with kevin and luanne - we have to try and convince luanne to see sw:ep2 at the silvercity. she can't stand sci-fi and i can't stand not seeing sw:ep2 in a nice theatre so we'll see what happens. it should be an epic battle ...
