since i started buying records, i've only bought four new ones. the rest were all used. there were/are a lot of new ones i'd like to have, but i couldn't justify the cost in my head. well today i fixed that but good. i bought five radiohead albums on vinyl.

yesterday was pretty good. had lunch with the k*rk at the yard. came home and pissed around. in the evening i went to the library and then helen and i joined jezza and rie on the yards deck for a bit of beer and some burgers (and i think the girls had something too.)

little bit of new stuff to speak of; i was at the Yard and Flagon five days in a row last week. only twice so far this week. on tuesday i bought two George Harrison albums for a little over 12$. i smoked my pipe today with real tobacco. the flavour of the tobacco is not as good as it smells, but overall quite a pleasant experience and apparently healthier than cigars or cigarettes. i was playing bocce with my dad at the time and as a whole i quite enjoyed it. i am such an old man.

i have little if not nothing else right now. i was going to take a picture of the fairie rings in our front yard, but it got dark before i remembered. if i can steal my dads camera, i'll take a couple tomorrow.

Billy Preston has died. now there really are only two Beatles left, and only one good one.

yesterday was great. i went for lunch with k*rk at the yard and arno (the owner) picked up the tab. then we went to the Vinyl Diner where i found four decent looking classical records in the 50c bin. and then we went to the little smoke shop in market mall where i finally found what i believe are the cigarillos i found in regina that were so good (k*rk and m*rk got a buzz of like 3 puffs.) i also picked up some pipe tobacco and i'm gonna give that a go and try to dig myself deeper into behaving like an old man. i went back to the yard in the evening and had a beer and nachos with the girls.
