I watched a documentary that showed the plight of the polar bears, who are dependant on the ice-cap for hunting, breeding, birthing, etc. Before the ice-caps are shrinking, their natural territory is shrinking and causing them stress. See the link below.
The big question is...is global warming linked to human activity, ie.pollution, or is it simple a natural evolutionary process of the earth, ie.the ice-age (if you believe it existed) melted away too?

Matt...is this an environmental concern of yours, or are you more intersted in the politcal propoganda attached to it? A sincere question.
is that all you? it looks so well organized i thought it was spam. well done mate.
i worry that, just as religion and politics don't mix well, neither do science and politics. i am interested in the idea that all of what we are told about how we are "destroying the earth" may be wrong, and that in attempting to fix things that are not that grave an issue, we will continue to harm the earth in ways the masses are quite ignorant of.

Apparently there are also a growing number of scientists that believe otherwise. The link below states this case.
