so i can get ordained from a couple of places in the states. one is Christian another is universalist (ie; we want to empower everybody in their faith, regardless what it is.) problem is you still need to get licensed in Canada, and i'm not sure what that takes. also since i have serious issues with "state weddings" being related to Church weddings it may not be something i wanna take that far.. but i might still spring for the ordination. even if it's just for the title.

yours truely,
Reverend Matthew.

"If I were God, I certainly wouldn't want people to love me sentimentally. It's too unreliable." - taken from the story Teddy from J.D. Salinger's Nine Stories

when i read this quote i found that it expressed much of my discomfort within the church.

people don't really like the Bible, do they? i don't mean non-christians, i mean christians. we really seem to do everything in our power to pull out ideas we like and ignore the truths we don't. fascinating.
