Gomez - good country meets fuzz rock..... sweeet
Phantom Planet - indie rock meets creativity (as apposed to say, the Strokes)
Ratatat - electronica with only electronic drums... the rest is guitar and bass played masterfully thru effects to create the patterns
i've also been listening to some Buddhist Chants

there may be some keyboards on the Ratatat album, but i'm still not 100% sure.
